Had a really disappointing experience. Booked the half Monty which was supposed to take around 30mins. We were sat for about 20 minutes before our cheeseboard / matching foods came, and then probably another 5-10 minutes before we got our first wine. Second wine came relatively quickly after the first which was great, but it slowed down tremendously after that. After an hour and a half of being there, I ended up having to go up to the bar staff to ask for our last wine. It was very obvious that it was busy, but there was no explanation or apology from the staff, or alternatives like having a glass of wine while we waited. It was apparent that there were a number of young untrained staff who wouldn't even make eye contact with us to assist. The couple next to us was doing a full tasting and they were well behind us, I can't imagine how long they were there for. A number of times others would get served and we would be completely overlooked. The wine was incredible which was the only saving factor. If it wasn't for the poor service, we would have bought a few bottles and things from the gift shop but we knew we'd be waiting ages just to buy them. I feel bad for the staff, but just speaking to us or asking if there was anything they could do while we waited was all we needed. I hope to go back again when it is properly staffed and hope to have a better experience.
